Unread post by Easy E » Thu Mar 24, 2005 6:49 pm

So I decided to cover Delicate by Damien Rice, easy little song. i could never sing the last chorus so i just decided to throw some other guitar parts in there, let me know what you guys think. Peace.

IM listening to the first couple verses. It sounds really good. Your vocals fit the song perfectly. Guitar is kind of low but that's how he plays it too.

I think it sounds great overall. Great Job and not much to critique.

very good. everything was good, except some things im bringing up for the sake of a review.

2:18 - Vocals struck me as a tad off. A few notes later as well.

The switch to the second guitar wasn't clean. turn it down a tad. try panning the tracks as well. it'll make it sound more well done. i think you could have done better than just the vocal melody on the guitar. experiment a bit and come up with a little solo/ditty/whatever to play over it. it's gets a little a messy when that third guitar comes in.

that's really it. it was really well done. good job. :)

yeah i saved the mixdown before i was going to make everything level just to send it to me brother and forgot to save all the individual tracks, so i was stuck with those guitar parts coming in wrong, thanks for the good word though

How do you get that...that...almost echo-like sound to your voice? What effect does that? It sounds so much cleaner and more professional than anything I record.

haha, oops. What can I say, it's a smooth jam. If I could only match good lyrics that are just as catchy Im set.
