Most people are only exposed to DMB's live music potential on t.v. in their apperances on the late night shows, Leno, Letterman, Aussie t.v. in this case, whatever - I've never seen a great t.v. performance once from the band.

I don't like this song, I think it's boring.

Dave is obviously working out, good for him.
I agre, when I think of DMB live I picture Dave belting out the "HOOOWWWLLLLLLL!!!!!!" from Watchtower.
Live on TV he is much more conservativce vocally and musically.

how bout that letterman #41 when they didnt even play the intro, they just started off with "come see....."

just gopes to show that the listening public is stupid and impatient.
I agree, DMB is one of the few "big acts" that plays better live. They trim and and trim their tunes and often look terribly nervious or uncomfortable on t.v. (at least Dave does).

Most popular music is marketed so adeptly in print, radio, t.v. - it'sensory overload! These bands don't even usually play live shows (maybe it's more difficult to lip sync in an ampitheater?)

EDIT: Yeah, I saw an old Leno clip (could be Letterman, I forgot), but anyway they're playing a track from BTCS, it might be DDTW - TERRIBLE! Honestly one of the worst performances I've ever heard or seen from DMB. If I wasn't a fan I'd be totally turned off by this one.

Of course there is one definite gem w/regards to t.v. apperances.

Dave solo on Charlie Murphy playing the Stone! One of my favorite versions of any DMB song played on t.v.
Charlie Rose. Agreed.
Haha, youre as cold as ice Charlie Murphy
on that same note, did anyone else notice that during the outro to "Too Much" from the GGP show, dave kept yelling, "Yeaaahhh, OKAAAYYYY" over and over.

yes. would you like me to delete it too, so you can't see the video? that's a fairly easy proposition.
