thats exactly what i´m gonna do. sure it would be fun to see stuff. but i just wanna chill on a beach in Australia, play my guitar+drink beer and just have a good time and not care about anything..

yeah,, it would have been a good time i´m sure of that. and yeah, checkii is a hilarius guy to party with, 4 in the morning at my place with to girls telling wormann jokes... it was good times.

Badass Josh. Absolutely badass. How are your originals coming? Did you end up going to that one school?

and my originals aren't really coming at all. i decided that i wasn't yet experienced enough to do so and realized how foolish i was to try to write my own material at this point. i still have so much more to learn and so much more experience to garner. and then there's the fact that i dont have the time to do so. jazz standards, classical repitiore and numerous scales occupy all of my practice time now.

This is the biggest trap one can fall into, unless you truly are inundated with the need to practice. Write all different types of stuff, and don't just stick to one genre of music. You will find the theory workout challenging, but it will actually aid your playing. These songs don't even have to be perfect, but they will help with your improvisation/executive skill/etc. Give it a shot. Really.
