My new Taylor 410-LTD
So I have this friend whose wife has finally had enough of his guitar collection (he has 20), and she "ordered" him to sell a few.
He decided that one would be his 2003 Taylor 410-LTD, and I was ever the eager buyer!
I will post pics once I fix my camera (prob this weekend), but it is SO amazing, and I love it to death. The Imbuia wood on the LTD models really give it an extra little shimmer, which is quite nice for some of the Simon and Garfunkel stuff I have been learning.
I am giving my Taylor 110 to my girlfriend and she is returning hers and giving me the cash (mine has a fishman in it and she wanted one anyway, so it all worked out).
Anyone else have one of these??

I've known the guy since I was in the 3rd grade (he is 2 years older than I am). He didn't want to take THAT much, but I refused to TOTALLY screw my friend. He was gonna sell for 500, but I thought that was taking advantage too much, so I insisted he take more.
I do agree that it is a sweetass instrument for an amazing price!

The first thing I am doing is putting a pickup in it. I think I'm going with the Fishman Accoustic Matrix II. I hear it gives a better tone to dreadnaughts, but the I may be better since I don't amplify too loudly.
Then I am getting the Ebony/Abalone inlay bridgepin set from Taylor, and I may get my truss rod cover inlaid with my signature in mother of pearl.
What else should I do to it??
