Hey, I've tried to get threads going for my music before on other boards.....but no one really responds and gives me feedback...If y'all are willing, check out my music at http://www.mp3.com/mike_c_nichols. It spans a WIDE variety of my stuff......recordings dating back to 1999 with songs dating back to 1997, but the stuff other than Live At The Sycamore Tree is more recent and shows the more "intricate" and "complicated" songs. One thing I do want to say before you listen. Not only is there an importance in music/guitar work and a separate importance in lyrics, but one of my meditated "crafts" is the use of rhythm(s) and the mixture of all three to form my music. If something sounds simple...most times it's meant to because it has an importance like how it is. I know that's kind of complicated, but I've had people try and tell me how to re-work my music from a standpoint that it was not written from, I mean TOTALLY different. He was seeing it from a "recording" standpoint and focused too much on the "technicallity" of it instead the art of it. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy. By the way, I usually change songs about every few days and I think I'm gonna be doing it weekly and send out an email every week for the updates! If you want to be notified of updates, email me from the website. Thank you and I hope to get some feedback!!!

I listened to "the lost"
the guitar sounds good and consistent, nothing too fancy but that can still be cool. The vocals could be a little stronger, they seem a little shakey at times. But this is also a live recording, and i know everything is different live. I will listen to more of them in a little bit-
