Well... I have no idea. I wonder if anyone actually does.
there was a discussion on this a while ago, i dunno how truthful it was but someone said that taylors are known to cut through a band better due to it's high trebble...supposedly the martin would blend in due to it's low bass...i dunno when i heard shows pre 2000 era i thought i heard the guitar just fine. I love taylor tho, and i'm glad he uses them.
pre 2000 was the chet, great great sound from that
i agree-- but i think the martins were great.
WHY WHY with the taylors-- there just ..

I think his Taylors aren't mixed very well and don't sound as good as they possibly can. And maybe Dave's style doesn't fit them well enough.

Well, i like the song, but to me Dave sounds like he's struggling live? Might just be me, but to be honest it made me cring a little on the Stayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy part. What you guys think?

yeah the radio version is obviously tighter - but this song oughta come a long way live, but after one performance you can't expect it to be great

Dave's voice sounded shitty. I agree with whoever said he needs carter backing him up on this one.
I'm still not that amped over this song. It's by no means a bad song, but it's not exactly knocking my socks off either. I guess I just hold DMB up to a higher standard.

We all hold dmb to a higher standard. That's just what dmb fans do! I agree that his voice was kinda weak. Carter needs to kick those backups in like he does with all other songs. his voice makes dave's sound 10 times better. Good song though
