Goin to nashville this week and i want a new guitar.

well basically i have around $400 and if i saw somethin really good i could prolly borrow another 100 or so from my mom... I want an acoustic with electronics, BUT if i can get something much better thats just acoustc ill be willing to save and get electronics later. I kinda want something with an OM body style, but not gonna say no to a great dreadnaught by any means. ive been lookin around for some stuff, and i want some of your opinions.

what do you have now?

i'd say wait until you have a bit more to buy an A/E.

also, stay away from low end martins or taylors.

I would buy an acoustic without electronics. I personally like the sound of guitars with after market electorinics.

Plus, You will get a much better guitar without the elec.

oh trust me id never get a low end martin or taylor, and right now i have a montana em105 ccs...

but ummm i really need a new one, and i agree i need to wait more, but what if i got a great acoustic, then got a decent soundhole pickup, and used that till i could get a fishman, id have a better guitar in the end with that.

how are takamine's OM style guitars, GC is having a green tag sale where stuff is 50% off at least and higher, im goin there this week and they have a tak on sale great price, id have cash over to get a mixer, or a loop, or an aura, or to put towards a kit.

hmm well as ive told mr gumbo here, since GC is having this HUGE HUGE HUGE march sale, i might get 2 guitars, this OM tak i like, and a 12 string with it... interesting

If you only have $400 I would reccomend you only buy one guitar.
