i was listening to a 1-29-94 show, and on the first track, he said this night goes out to my sister, he said she got murdered... is this true? thats crazy

Yes she was murdered by her own husband who then killed himself

yes she was murdered, many say her husband equally as many say aparthied radicals killed her and her husband... we dont know, lets leave it there and not talk anymore of it.

Read Step Into the Light. She was not murdered by her Husband.

According to SITL, they were both killed in public by an african radical. They were on the street - out in the open. He didn't kill her, don't say that, it's horrible.

Thank God for you. That is a great book! The first Dave book I read. Some people just talk out their assess when referring to Dave & his history.

There's a reason every person my school calls me "Guru." It's pretty funny, every time I meet someone in school, even if I don't know them, they know that I'm obsessed with DMB.

Perhaps it's because every lunch concert we have at school I play a full set of DMB songs...

I was the same way in college. My Freshman year everybody refered to me as Dave Matthews. Thats all I listened to, All I read, & I did everything to know every detail about the band. Now that IM nearing 30, I don't care that much anymore. I just like the music.

hey fuck you jellyfish, i answered his question. ive heard from many places, even a VH1 bio on dave that her husband killed her, i dont think so either, but what can i say dave hasnt said so we dont know. both stories are out there sorry if i offended you jellyfish but sometimes your a fucking dusch to people, sorry if i tried to give daves life some privacy he hasnt said anything about it so obviously he doesnt like it out there.

Daves life some privacy? Who the hell are you. If he wanted it to be private it wouldn't have been in the two books I read about him. And Im not going to apologize for thinking that you have the "know it all" attitude. That's how you come off.

That's a little too harsh, buddy.

Even if you didn't read SITL, they said on VH1:Driven that she and her husband were killed in a shooting in Africa.

ahhh that's not harsh around here. We treat each other like that all the time.

i did read SITL a year ago, ive heard both, and ive heard it somewhere and i know it was VH1 whether it was a bio on him or driven it was something, but ive heard both. and how do i come off as a know it all jelly fish? by answering peoples questions? holy shit that is bad of me, and daves never said how she died, how SITL and other books got it i dont know, but they did.
