It should be in today's mail, and judging from what I've heard about the Lillywhite songs, it should become my fiance's favorite show over Folsom Field.

Hows the Say Goodbye? The only live version I've heard was from way back in the trax days. I know that meadows was one of the last times they played it.

Its a great version, Carter goes off on a 5 minute solo with leroi on the flute before everybody else comes in

Why the fuck did they abandon that song? Probably because it is one of the songs that most symbolizes his frat boy musician days. I know he wants to shed that image.

I was there man. Woooah. All 3 shows. The last night was the best because the band really sensed the fact that we were all drained and yet still very full of energy (is that possible?).

What a great time that was.

I can't wait for the gorge so I can get that same feeling. A three day dave orgasm. I originally thought I was going to miss the gorge because of my ROTC summer cruise and even went as far as investigate how to take a bus from SD (where I will be at the end of the cruise) up to LA and find a hostel near the home depot center for that show, but I found out two days ago that the summer cruise was way earlier than I anticipated, and I would be able to make all three shows. GORGE 2005 OR BUST!!!
