Ants Marching
You know the part that goes: G blah blah blah blah D? in the blah blah blah part, how do you play the slide from 5/7 on the D string. Do you hit the string again or just slide from the hit before? i know that sounds really vague but i'm hoping that someone who knows how to play the song really well would be able to crack that code. haha. Thanks

Thats wierd. I have never once used a slide for the GblahblahblahblahD part. I always position my hands in such a way where it sounds correctly and I can hammer the note with my ring finger. It sounds perfectly right. The slide has never worked for me.

I actually really like the sound of the slide. it took me a long while to get it right. but the blah blah blah blah blahs sound really good now. the question that i was in essence asking earlier was "on the slide from 5 to 7 on the D string, do you hit the string again or just keep playing off the earlier hit. and its the latter. i htink. it sounds better that way to me anyways. i'm curious though, how do you do the hammer on davy?

If you're playing with a bass and both the guitar and bass players use slides it sounds cool.
