here's another idea, search google for a scale finder site that shows you how to do improv on the E harmonic minor scale on which the song is based. timmys fills are about 90 % improv on that scale during the verses, with plenty of delay. During the the 7-9-11 part timmy plays the the power chords 799xxx, 101212xxx, and 577xxx in that order. Listen to L@LC for the rhythm. During that part e also plays the same lick as dave but an octave higher, as shown on the main site tab. Check out the cool alternate verses (side tab) for his fills during the 2nd verse part ("TV's on....").

The absolute key, though is the E harmonic minor scale. You have to be proficient at playing it and playing it fast to make the fills sound any good. What I did is I learned the scale with my eyes closed and played it a couple hundred times.
Here is a site that shows it. It says A minor harmonic but trust me once you start playing it you will recognize its place in minarets.

You're only as strong as the tables you dance on.

I think it means the 10th and 12th frets

I just wanted to clear this up. This is not based off of E Harmonic minor. It's actually based off the 5fth mode of the harmonic minor scale also known as Phrygian Dominant. This means it's the notes of A Harmonic minor with E as the tonal center
The notes of E Harmonic minor: E,F#,G,A,B,C,D#
The notes of E Phyrgian Dominant: E, F, G#, A, B, C, D
You'll notice that in the verse riff F and D are both natural not sharp but the G is sharp. This scale makes the I chord a dominant or major chord hence the 076xxx during the verse. If this were in E Harmonic minor the I would be minor.
In laymans terms you would want to play A Harmonic minor but treat E as the root.
The Last Stop is based around F# Phrygian Dominant (same notes as B Harmonic minor with F# being the tonal center)
