Say Goodbye

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

sorry i dont have a vid to give you but i just started to love this song and play it.....im a beginner by my standards and it isnt a hard song at all...just get down the basic chords and it is simple....some people seem to have trouble with the strumming pattern but you just have to have a feel for it and as someone said in a diff forum if you must, listen to the L@LC version and follow that strummin pattern. Also some of the transitions are confusing but stick with it and you will have it down

Hitting the top string once then playing the next 6 strings fast, coupled with muting and sliding. Repeating.

I can't get the damn slide to sound right at all...and that chord that it goes into is just awkward for me to strum. Which is weird because this song is pretty simple. Does anyone know the correct way to hold that chord? I'm talking about the X11999x one.
