Anyone know of share software that I can edit .mp3 files w/?

Post recordings you have made here and get feedback from the community. Songwriting topics would also reside here.

Anyone know of share software that I can edit .mp3 files w/?

Unread post by c_tietze » Mon Feb 28, 2005 2:09 pm

The sound engineer recorded a few of our live sets and the final product was in .wav format. I converted the .wav to .mp3. Is it easier to edit .wav, can I even edit .mp3's?

Any shareware software selections you might recommend to edit with?

Basically I just want to seperate the file into seperate tracks and remove some dead spots, fade in/fade outs, etc.

peace,

C

Thanks all.

I now have a piece of shareware that I found after searching for a little bit more. I will look into bbatsell's idea too. Thanks folks.

I just like typing "bbatsell"
