I thought there was something wrong with my speakers for a second. Cool Stereo effects.

Alright I finally got a chance to listen to this....sounds good.

A few things I would have a look at.....the strumming pattern on the intro just seems too basic, like you're strumming them all equally.
How about just start off picking a few notes and then building up to a full strum.
Vocals were pretty good, stayed in tune for the most part which is the most important part.
The ' I will go in THIS way' sounded AMAZING! Good job...
The 'I'm coming HERE' 2:32 seemed like he jumped into it, kinda scared me. It went out of tune a little bit but nothing you can't fix.

The second guitar part was great and the bass was a really cool addition.
Great cover, i'd like to hear more from you guys.

for the strumming thing... i didn't wanna do it just like dave... in fact we tried our best no to do exactly what dave does on his recordings... and i don't understand what's bad about strumming equally (mostly because i don't understand what you mean by that...)

and the reason the "HERE" kinda jumped at you was because we put in a little extra reverb when it came in... this was one of our first recordings (done back in like december) and we wanted to experiment... this recording is far from our best effort and we really don't feel like doing it over again :P

Chill fatjack. No need to be so damn defensive. I don't think Trippin was telling you to do it "just like Dave". He suggested "starting off picking a few notes and then building up to a full strum". You can do that in a way that doesn't mimic Dave's style. This is the Recording & Critiquing forum. If you can't handle constructive criticism, don't post here. Receiving feedback from someone of Trippin's caliber should be welcome, not blown off. I've been trying to ignore the edge you have to each and every one of your posts, but this one is too much. Relax!

With that said, I like your recording a lot.

it didn't seem defensive to me at all. it's hard to express tone of voice. some people take it in one way, and others take it in another way. i enjoyed it, but there were some parts where the second guitar was a little off with timing, but that's fine.

Yeah, I know. Everybody's different and fatjack seems to always post with bit of an edge. I guess that's just his personality. Perhaps I was the one being a bit too abrasive here. Sorry. I didn't mean to offend. I know it's easy to interpret the wrong thing in a message forum. Personally, I highly value the criticism I receive here and I try to use it to better my playing/singing, which IMO is improving.
