frets are relative to the capo. if you have the capo on the second fret, and the tab says you play x32x1x, you're actually playing on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th frets.Dale_Milligan wrote:excellent, thanks man. can i just ask while im here though. ive seen songs where it says use a capo on...whatever, but then you have to use that fret during that song? whats all that about?

I as well have a little trouble playing with a capo that high only because I have freaky ass long fingers. But, for most people with the stubs, I think it will be easier.Grandpagotgame wrote:I thinks it's more diffictult with the capo on because I have trouble adjusting my hands so the capo doesn't interfere with them. But that's just me.jellyfish wrote:The capo on 7 - use same chords as raised B. Actually easier cause the frets are smaller.Dale_Milligan wrote:firstly , i really dont want to have to tune differently ( im not very good) but the B tuned version looks allot easier, Also strumming while i hit the base notes, which you have to do very quickly. any tips?
