Well I posted a couple of original songs along with a couple covers. I'd really like some feed back on the originals if anyone can spare a second. Thanks. Later

hey old man, just gave a listen to wounded. the other original link brought up your tripping billies cover, so i assume you uploaded the wrong song there.

you definitely have a great voice. that is i think unquestionably the strongest part of the song. as for the song itself, i like the feel of it: laid back and elegantly simple. however, i do think that after a while, that main chord progression gets a little old. if you can do something to change that up, i really think it would help the song alot. it also could stand to be a little shorter, as 4:00 feels a little long for this song. but there's definitely a lot of good stuff going on there, and some real potential.

I agree Tico....I'm actually going to shorten it and I've written some extra verses in there to get ride of the extra chorus's. Plus I added a couple extra chord changes to spice it up. Thanks for the comments man. Later.

hey man, sorry it took me so long to listen, but ive listend to all your songs that you have up and this is waht i think...

Good punch Neil Diamond type voice. on key, very soothing. only criticism is maybe to get a little range. and i never heard falsetto, now falsetto can be overrated, but if used right very effective. so i say try to work on range, maybe falsetto, that's up to you if you think it sounds right.

Great progressions but very basic as said before. maybe if you just added some harmony secondary guitar parts. i really don't think the main guitar needs any change. maybe just some accompaniment. same w/ vocals, i heard some accompaniment vocal wise on Last Time, but it was the same as the lead part, maybe throw some harmonies in.

Lyrics were good, original, but depressing. and im the last to judge, if you've heard my stuff its all depressing and sappy, i know how hard it is to write about good stuff w/o making it sound like someone from nickalodeon, but other than that, lyrics are excellent. You also have a great ability to not rhyme words, this is something that a lot of people have problems w/ and just cannot do, but you did it well in a few songs...and that sounds very professional when done right.

Nan was one of my fav's. although i think your b or high e string was out of tune. maybe wanna think about rerecording it :D
Life's hitches was another of my fav's. But my favorite was So Far Gone. excellent excellent song.

Great sense of rhythm, great guitar playing, great voice. very very impressed. if you don't mind, im actually going to keep some of your songs and throw them in on my regular playlist. i loved them that much. keep it going, i wish i had the lyrical writing ability you have.

I guess that's all i had written down. i hope you read this, i know its been a while since you posted this thread, but no one can say that i don't put serious time and effort into analysing other people's songs. so there you go, overall i say this is some of the best stuff ive heard on here as far as one person doing everything goes. keep up the good work, let me know when you get new ones in cause i really really want to hear them.

Peace

Thanks for the review

Yo man thanks for taking a look at my stuff. I would love to have accompaniment on a lot of those songs but i'm no lead guitar player thats for sure. I've only been playing for about 3 years now, so my stuff is still pretty basic chords and progressions and i am working on getting a bit more complicated. I'm glad you liked "So Far Gone" ...definatley my fav song. I'm currently in the process of writing some more up beat tunes and I'll send them your way for review once they are done. As far as vocals go....i really only opened my mouth to sing about 2 years ago and your right in saying i need more range....i think i have it i just have to find it. Anyway dude...thanks a bunch for listening and your comments. I look forward to hearing more of your stuff.

Peace
