Three Originals From Two Step

Unread post by 2Stepleadguitarist » Wed Feb 23, 2005 7:09 pm

Hey guys, these three songs are rough cuts. In other words I knew what I was playing, but the rest of the band just did whatever on a first run. The end result was we decided to keep the arrangements as they came out, but even though I have lyrics for all three, we don't have an original singer yet. So easy on the "that sounds like dave" stuff because he didn't patent the chords or style. There are some mistakes because nobody really knew what they were doing, but still not bad. Enjoy. May work best to right click and save target as.

Whacha Gonna Do

Alright, everybody in my band and our managers are pleased that everyone likes our music, but are pissed off that I posted without copyrighting. So I already did the poor man ©, and downloaded the rediculously lengthy forms and paid the fee and mailed off the material I put up for you for the legit ©, and everybody who knows the whole deal knows I'll get back one of those eleven digit numbers saying I have copyrighted the music. So if any of the two-hundred forty people who looked at the material are "thieves", and this has happened before... don't bother stealing the material, I'll include this in the original post as well. I may be conceited that I believe it is valuable enough for a producer to steal, but like I said it's happened before, and it's really sad and pathetic.

Thanks Uni, we have a DMBtab veteran that we hope will put the lyrics to them soon, not to mention we need to add the keys, lead guitar, and violin.

Hey, Hey, You've got one hell of a sax player. Everything elese sounded great as well but the sax seems to be the dominate part of this song (I'll see you again)

Excellent.

Are you guys into opening shows. I've got some Carbon Leaf connections.

Thanks Jelly, we do open for some national acts and local legends like The Breakfast Club, it all depends if the money and/or oppurtunity is right.
Just get in touch with either myself or put your connections/agents directly in contact with our agent Scooter Abrams listed on the website.

You guys do a great job. I don't think the recording quality does you justice. Id like to hear it live.

Thanks everybody for all of your comments. They mean a lot, especially since these were absolute rough cuts with no rehearsal on the material.

Jelly, We've opened for VACO before and we play some of the same venues as both them and Carbon Leaf. There isn't anything I can send you promo wise that Isn't on the website less a list of some of the places we've played. So, unless you want a hard copy of the promo, just let our agent know and he'll handle it. He knows just about every venue everywhere. Thanks for your help.
