Gravedigger Cover
Hey everybody...I've browsed these boards ever since I started playing guitar a little over a year ago, and wanna say thanks for all the good advice spread around by you all.
Anyway, I recorded this with my yamaha (aka shitty) guitar and the socom headset from ps2, so the quality isn't that great, but want any feedback you guys feel it needs. I'm at that point where you get tired of just playing dave songs on the guitar and want to branch out into other great artists/songs.

Haha...Yea, whenever I go over to my friends' houses, I somehow always like their guitars better than mine. I close to buying a replacement, but need the cash firstjellyfish wrote:1 of my 4 guitars is a Yamaha. I really dislike it.

That tin sound is from the guitar...I've had so many different strings on there, it still comes out like that.
Thanks for the comment, jelly
NO problem, You really dont need to work on anything as far as I can tell. You pretty much have it solid.
It's amazing how a quality guitar can make you sound soooo much better. When I play a Taylor, I always think, "Damn, I sound good." But, I realize it's just the guitar.
The best players are who can sound good on a piece of shit guitar. Now, thats a challenge

Guitar sounds very solid, yet I'm not quite happy with the vocals. not because they sound bad, it's just because it's hard to hear them, especially in the quiet parts in the beginning. later on after the transition when you put more power into them, I found them definitely decent.
overall good job
