11 years ago, my mother forced me to take either guitar or piano. I chose guitar and have thanked her ever since.

Damn, I wish my mom forced me to play. She always said "You won't play it" When in fact that meant, "I dont have money to buy you a guitar or send you to lessons"

My second was an epiphone. Biggest piece of shit ever. But I love it.

I did it for the love of music. I already played the clarient, and I loved to sing (even though I was a bad singer at the time). My parents brought me up with nothing but music. I heard Neil Young, Jimmy Buffet, the Beatles, Bob Dyaln, Fleetwood Mac, Steve Earl, Tony Bennet, Bob Dylan, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Elton John, CCR, Bruce Springstein, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, and more.

I just wanted to pick it up and play. But soon after, I realised this was going to be my profession, since I couldn't think about anything but playing guitar the whole day. It's been 5 years, day and day out of playing guitar whenever I can, just because I want to, and I still just can't see myself not writing music, not up onstage performing, not in a studio recording. I just want to be a musician, and nothing else.
Yes, I am in a box
