Timmy - Stream

Unread post by toltzmjd » Wed Feb 23, 2005 4:10 pm

When Timmy playes stream at Luther College is he using a pick? because that would limit him greatly to his speed but it sure sounds like a pick and a lot of the things he does could only be done with a pick i'm sure, but what does everybody else think or maybe even know?

P.S. I can't believe that L@LC wasn't taped! It makes me so furious!!!!!

I play it with a pick but I donn think he does. When I say I play it, that doesn't mean I play it exactly like Timmy.

On the Timmy website it says he fingerpicks on all his songs except Stream and Kundalini Bonfire, so yes he uses a pick.

Yes, I know he doesn't like to be called TIMMY. But since IM not directly speaking to him Im gonna say Timmy. Don't worry when I see him next I will call him Tim out of respect. Just like the last time I met him.

Yes. That's Paco de Lucia, Al di Meola, John Mclughlin kind of speed which is even more super-human than Tim's.

If dave and tim do another tour (showcasing the songs on the new album, hint hint) they gotta do an DVD of it.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
