I think I played one of these at elderly a few weeks ago...I'll check again next time i'm in in the next few weeks, but still, I'd put my HD-35 up against any dreadnaught. Not that all HD-35's are better than whatever, but I'm telling you, this one I got is just a rocket...I've played atleast 15 other HD-35's now that still aren't near as good as the one I've got...there's something about it...one luthier said the same thing of it. He said he can't wait to here it in 20 years. But yeah, D-42K...will check it out more precisely and play it back to back against mine as it's going to the repair shop nexttime to get a bone saddle upgrade.
