you may believe that and I agree, it's cool and humorous at times, but I don't think everyone here feels the same way...cough...billywestom...cough...
hehe, ah well. to each his/her own, right? :) as for now, i'm working on perfecting my emotion face at close to 4 in the morning. joy joy...

if you're putting a lot of emotion into playing, you're going to look stupid...why don't you go make fun of SRV...he's only one of the greatest guitars to live and he makes mayer look regular...
yeah, SRV could look pretty damn disguating at times...after all, mayer is largely influenced by him... could that be why he looks like that? :D

So now you're mad at me because I don't like Mayer's facial expressions? Someone can't make a joke about someone else's ugly faces? How does this affect you at all? You act like your own life depends on everyone else knowing that Mayer is the greatest person alive, and that no one thinks down on him at all.

I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

I don't even like mayer much at all, I just can't stand how biased DMB fans are against him, it's utterly and completely ridiculous.

I can definitely understand that, Elliot. i think that's the first time one of your comparisons between mayer and dmb has settled with me, but sometimes i don't think it really helps when you do make those comparisons.

again, i do definitely see where you're coming from by saying that. a lot of us forget about why we listen to the artists in the first place and why there are so many different variations of the art itself...it's because we love music. just because someone else isn't playing the same music we love/like, or someone else is a little different doesn't mean we can't get anything out of it or we should diss 'em. that's just totally going against, at least dave's message of spreadin' some good lovin'.

mayer's a great, great guitarist. i used to listened to him quite a bit when he was starting out, but i moved on. there are a few favorite tunes that i go back to...he has great execution, but sometimes his lyrics are grating. In Your Atmosphere, Man on the Side, Neon, and a few others are some that i come back to. i'm looking forward to hearing his new album at least once, along with dave's.

shine the light of love in here so that it's always buzzing just like...

;)

Man on the Side I play a lot as well just because it's a lot of fun to jam around with and sounds absolutely great on electric. everyone always asks me to play neon so I do that...something's missing I think is a great tune to play. 3X5 and Why Georgia will always be some of my favorite songs though. Just great tunes, but it's not the same as it was a few years ago. I'm hoping this album will be good, but eh...

heh. yeah. haven't heard a particular stand-out song yet on the new album. 3x5 has a great chorus, but why georgia is a little overplayed now, like comfortable so i can't listen to them too much without having it grating.
