The Stone violin part

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Code: Select all

Drop D

Violin 1

E:----------------------------------------------1--0-----1--2--4--
B:-------------------------------------------3--------------------
G:---------------------------------3--2---3-----------------------
D:-------------0--3~~~~----0--0--3--------------------------------
A:----------0-----------------------------------------------------
D:-0--3--4--------------------------------------------------------

That, to me, seems like the "Lead violin" out of the three. I can't decipher the other two..sorry.

the first part of the song (where it is just Dminor) the violin keeps a steady 16th note pattern with the note A. after that, ihave no idea, just listen to the song and see if you can pick out the rest...

If you have heard my cover of the stone (from the cover contest.. see http://scottdial.com/files/Stone.mp3) .. I played this as the "violin" part.. I think it works well, some people said it changed the song too much.. I leave that up to you
