too much bass, not enough trebble in the guitar.
good vocals... you may want to change up the strumming pattern a smidgen. and i think id slow it down a bit too.

overall good. keep postin.

Yea I know, If I had any money I'd buy a new guitar. the one im playin now is about 35 years old. its not even regulation size. i think it sounds like shit too. as for being muffled i need a new method of recording. new equp. comp mics dont quite cut it.

Guitars sometimes get better with age..... Does it have an input? or are you going through a computer mic?

yeah, they had laminates and this like particleboard shit they used to make guitars out of. most 35 year old solid wood guitars today are worth gobs and sound quite good

i have a 32 year old laminate acoustic

I'm pretty sure its solid, but I don't think its worth much. The only markings it has is Stella on the neck. The inside has something on it but i cant make it out. I just dont like the sound. Its too tiny(not spelled right, not sure if its a word, like the metal tin) sounding, too much base and the high notes dont ring very long. Frets aren't placed perfect.

The Oscar Schmidt company (that made the Stella) went out of business in 1929, so that guitar is at the very least 76 years old.

I think my mom got it new when she was around 10 or so and she's only 54. Who knows, maybe this is something I need to investigate. By the way, doesn't Oscar Schmidt still make guitars?

Also I found a small white star painted on it.
