loosening or tightening the two screws on the sides of the pickups will raise or lower them. you tend to get a fatter sound the closer they are
the six screws in the middle of the plates are the actual coils, dont touch those

Ok, those two big metal blocks, those are the pickups, they are a style called Humbuckers, like a Gibson Les Paul would have. They are supposed to be a little loose, don't fuck with them, lol. What's right behind that is the bridge. That can be adjusted for tension and action, but don't do it, let a professional deal with it. The one right behind that is the saddle.
