Tabber Wanted for Reynolds song...(don't fret)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Heathcliff:

Didn't I do a B&P of DMB in Chicago DVD for you?

I play: Hopeful Heresy, Jemez Rolling Waves, Entity, As Far As We Can See, Rheginos and the Resurrection, Valley of Flowers, And Then They Were Free (obviously, haha), Decline in Reason, Dissident, Heaven is in the Heart, Letting Go, and You Are My Sanity. (maybe a couple I can't remember off the top of my dome.)

Now, I'm sure a few people that read this are gonna say I'm full of shit. And that's because they would never practice enough to play these songs. I do; I love guitar, I love Tim Reynolds, shit, I love Dave too. You just gotta plug away. Start with something easy, then just challenge yourself everyday. I just starting at guitar about 2 years ago, if you would have told me then that I'd be able to play The Stone and sing it, I'd have told you that you were nuts.

Anyway, I was actually thinking of emailing Tim's manager Fluffy and asking him about getting an official Tim Tab book out. There are so many people that would like to play his music, but not enough people to take the time to put out quality tablature. Even the Stream Tab from Luther College is not 100% accuarate to Tim's style. I have quite a few Tim DVDs, and have seen him live a few times, so I'm pretty well acquainted to how Tim plays his songs. Not that you'd want to tab out Tim's improv, but just the parts of his songs that he plays as a standard.

And there is no improv part in And Then They Were Free, so I don't know what that kid back there was talking about.

I think this has been brought up on TR's message boards before. Things like Tim TAB books, Tim Tshirts, etc... are not worth it for them to produce, as once all 15 regular posters on his board and the other 20 casual Tim fans out there had bought them, the sales would be over. It's not like DMB that has thousands upon thousands of fans and producing books and tshirts is just another way to make a buck. Tim and Co. would probably take a loss on producing Tshirts and TAB books. Over at the TR.com boards we have all talked about just producing our own shirts with our own hard earned cash.

I believe that's why the Tim DVD (The offical one) was never distributed that widely. As far as I know less than 500 copies were actually pressed.

Weren't you the same guy that posted this in another thread...
Hopeful Rolling Waves wrote:This kind of thread pisses me off, it just shows how lazy people are. If you actually LISTENED for 5 seconds you'd realize the answer to your own question. People just look at tab (which is garbage 98% of the time)and don't take the time to think about it, or just try it out. Anyway, PISS OFF. AHAHA

Get out of here with that egomaniacal shit.
Just because you came from the Reynolds boards doesn't make a God here.
