The active ingredient in nyquil, which is the same as in delsym, tylenol PM, and others, is hallucinogenic when taken in large amounts.

It was late late late late late late...

I was sittin in the shadows, so this particularly belligerent character could really involve me in his rather illuminated hallucinations...nah..

But i listened to him and he seemed to make a lotta sense because... by that stage i was feelin..... kinda fucked up...

But i'm talking about the... when you're feeling like um... no matter how much you drink you can't get anymore fucked up..

i started feeling like my face was falling off of my face...

but then i started uh... i started to feel a little, a little dry and i go "bartender, scuse me, i see you counting there... giving me the distinct impression that you don't necessarily want to serve me anymore to drink this evening. And i would think that uh, judging from your warm demeanor that you and i could necessarily start an indepth and interesting conversation over a cocktail right about now, can we? mr bartender? so why not... to prevent any further interruptions, pour me a long stiff drink and pretend i'm not here. I"ll try to ignore you, no?

I can't really express my disappointment right now cos i might fall off my chair, but lemme tell you a little about myself..."

Its kooky shit when taken in large amounts. Just don't mix it with things like ex and tequila, because it will perminantly fuck you up.

DXM (Dextromethorphan). this drug, commonly used as a cough suppressent, can be hallucinogenic in high doses (around 300mg and up). commonly known as "robotripping" you can acheive the trip without chugging bottles of cough syrup by picking up a bottle of robitussin cough gels and taking the whole bottle (20 pills) and you dont have to worry about any dangers other than possibly a lil discomfort from digesting them all at the same time. Be careful though, make sure that DXM is the only active ingredient, as CCC pills (coriscidan cough and cold) and other generic cough medicine (as well as other syrups like nyquil) contain chems like diphenhydramine and psuedophedrine that can cause problems such as seizures and even death if taken in high doeses.
Im not saying this is a 100% safe drug but i have used it many times as well as many of my friends and none of us have had any problems with it. The trip can be intense, and people have been known to take doses as high as 1000mg and come out fine (though i think this is crazy!!). one can expect mild to vivid hallucinations, as well as deep thoughts similar to those from shrooms and lsd, lasting anywhere from 8-20 hours. if you happen to come accross pure dxm (powder form) this is ur best and safest bet for a good time. im not advocating the use of this drug, just trying to educate anyone curious enough to try it so noone ends up in the ER. for those of you who do give it a try, hope u have a good trip and BE SAFE! peace...
