Big Eyed Fish video

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

We got a place here in SE WI that does glass blowing on site every couple of months or so. Very hush, hush, but if you know someone...

Plus, we have like three or four other head shops all within 15 minutes of each other. Local competition = lower prices for me. :)

Yeah, but there are health risks that go along with blowing glass, one being a considerably shorter life span. But if it's worth to you than by all means... ;) I'll leave the production to others.

Bongs are illegal in VA. It seems like most states are only allowing namd blown water pipes. I guess graffix 7 the other companies are now considered illegal in the US.

I have gone to 3-4 shops in and around New England and none have what they call "open mouth bongs" just hooka's. I tried to look on the web and found almost nothing. What shame, taking one huge bongs rip was a totally different high then a bowl or a bone.

I can't recall pefectly off hand, but a watched a documentary on glass blowing, say, about a year ago, and I'm fairly certain that some types of cancer, along with emphezema, and various other respiratory diseases, along with shortened life-span, were some of the health risks. Try a Google search for more definitive info.

Edit: Actually go here. Particularly #4.

To sway this thread back on topic... I have a question about playing Big Eyed Fish... I am a very new guitar player - been playing for about three months... I am trying to learn the intro and it is going well except by the time I have strummed through to the last set of tabs (4/2), my other strings which are not tabbed - E, B, G and E are all ringing pretty loud.
Reading the tab, am I suppose to strum all strings - is this correct?
Should I be muting the other strings after strumming with my strumming hand or my chord hand?

As a side note, I also noticed a (semi) picking version of the song here:

IM not looking at the tab but you shouldn't play those strings at all. And there is no need to mute t hem, just don't play them.

I just checked the tab. There is no muting at all. Typically when a string is supposed to be muted there will be an "x" through the string.

ie

-----x--------e
-----x--------b
-----0--------g

The bottom two would be muted.

The tab is as follows:
E:-------------------
B:-------------------
G:-------------------
D:-/9---9\5---5---4-- <---4
A:-/7---7\3---2---2-- <---1
E:-------------------

So, when playing tabs, only play the strings which have numbers - correct? And if the intent is to play the other strings open, there will be zeros - correct? (I think this is staring to sound familiar again).
