hmmm... good call...

but i still think that a guitar's aesthetics are much less important than overall quality and sound...[/quote]

I agree with you, fatjack, but would you really own a Tacoma? I mean they're pretty ugly. but apparantly they're pretty nice sounding.
good, and you?

never seen one before... and no i wouldn't buy a guitar that is extremely ugly, a guitar's looks matter, but just not the most important...

and fire, i really don't see how it makes it look classier (maybe if you put a bowtie on the nut :D )... but maybe i would just need to see yours...

sure aesthetics aren't the most important but if you found a guitar that sounds amazing it only adds to it if you make it the way you want it....i may consider it when i get my new Taylor (hopefully this weekend) i want to do it before she become too suntanned...

peace,

ah, new Taylor? what'd you decide on, Brad? you might've announced it, but it probably missed it.

nice one sarah :)

wouldn't it be cool to have a guitar that had a finish that made it look like it was wearing a tuxedo? :o

ehem.. *clears throat* ....

The Taylor 700 "Summer Strummer" Models sport a striking cocobolo back with flamed maple backstripe. They have a snowflake inlay, as opposed to the dots, an abalone rosette, and an abalone edged sitka spruce top. The beautiful cocobolo headstock overlay and flamed maple binding completes the biggest value Taylor has ever made (IMO ;)) - i can get one for $2100.
