some help

ive been playing for a year and have made some progress. the hardest thing for me to do is to get the strumming patterns for songs down. i just cant seem to get them right or its like the same pattern everytime. i was just look for some hints or advice

just listen to the song and try to make it sonund as much like that as possible dont try to copy exactly do it the way you think sounds cool :D

its really a feel kinda thing, cant really explain it, all i can say is dont try and emulate others strumming patterns, do your own thing within the chords you're given. good luck

uuuggggggggh, I hate this question. "Hey, what's the strumming pattern for DDTW?" I go by feel. You will get to a point where you will be able to tell right off the bat how a song is strummed, so it won't hurt to just listen to the song harder now. You will get to that point though.

im not really looking for someone to tell me the strumming pattern. just like hints to be able too hear the pattern. i hear a song but theres so many other instruments playing in there its hard to make it out.

haha, thats why you use tabs and stuff.

i just listen to the song in my head and play the strumming rthym...you just gotta feel it

again, just go with what you feel, not hearing it can be a good thing. just start playin and when somethin sticks, take it and run with it
