Is Tim going to be on the new album?

Is tim going to play a large role on the new album like on BTCS? I did a search and did not come up with anything. Maybe it was because I as searching under the wrong thing using the phrase "new album". It seems like dave, trey and tim are all really close now, especially after the dave and friends tour. so i am surprised I have not heard about tim in any of the articles. The producer certainly has not mentioned him from what I have seen.

well i dont have anything from tims people that he is, nor that he isnt. seems tim is commin back with the band after d+t 2003, d+f and tim guesting in AZ but that last one dont really count much. but ummm trey on it hard to say... hes been recording his own new album, but also hes outa phish now and he and dave have been close for years so who knows. butch is on it, we know that, he helped formt he new songs, and we know theres a piano in the studio. and bela's not on it we pretty much know that....

oh and also tim was spotted in c-ville a few months back suposedly.

where did i get what? the thing that dave and tim did a tour in 2003? no idea... trey and dave have been friends for years. and i know trey is recording his second album now because i checked his site. butch is one it we know because weve seen the paino in the studio, and he helped write and form the newer songs. and bela was in africa, and tim i just heard from a source or two he was seen in cville.

Tim's people....meaning Fluffy?? How do you have any more connection to "Tim's people" than anyone on the TR message boards?



As far as Tim being on it, I wish he was. It would give me more reason to go out and get it. I have a feeling that this album will be sans Tim though, as was Busted Stuff.

As far as Butch, I'm sure he will be, but a piano in the studio does not guarantee it. A lot of studios have pianos in them. The producer is obviously a piano player as was Glen Ballard. There was a piano in the studio that they did Everyday in, and Butch was not on that album.

im not saying i do have more connections with fluffy, and mine arent as good as those that go around there all the time. im just saying hes never said yes or no, and i think i read he was seen in cville there from someone i thinnnnk.

and true a piano doesnt mean butch, but he did help make these songs what they are, so its not exactly anything to dismiss.

I was just playing the devil's advocate there with the piano talk. I'm almost positive he will be on this album. In fact, I will be very surprised if he is not.
