i think everyday and some devil were both really good albums. sure they werent btcs and uttad, but think about how long you have been listening to the band since then, expectations can only grow. there arent many albums out there by other bands/performers that you can put in and listen to all of the way through, and i could do that with both everday and some devil
now see i dont think thats true maye for everyday but when i listen to that i always skip over the space between and on some devil i dont really like the last 5 songs especially oh

I don't think that Some Devil can really be compared to other DMB works. I mean, sure it is Dave, but it's not DMB. It's got Dave and Tim, but other than that I really think the sound is different than what you would hear on the DMB album. Some of the songs in there would lend themselves easier to being played, and pulled off, by DMB, and some would not.

i definitely agree, but the same can be said with everyday on some levels, its like nothing the band had ever done before. Some devil is definitely different from the band hence different people playing haha. But, i think them doing everyday can do nothing but good for the band, it will make them more creative in my opinion. they really havent made new music since everday, busted stuff had a few songs that were new but the majority of the album was made almost four years ago. Different doesnt = bad, Bad music = bad

Thank You. Im really sick of people saying that this album (Everyday) sucked. Im going to go on a limb here & say that these comments come from young listeners.

What do I mean by that? A brief history: I started going to DMB shows in 1995 & have seen them roughly 35 times. I have also seen D & T three times & have gone to 1 D & F show. From 1995 to 1999 I was satisfied with hearing the same ol songs over & over again at each show. Sometimes they almost played the same setlist night after night in the early days. As much as I loved the band & their talents I waas growing old of hearing Ants Marching f or the 3oth time. Then came Everyday. It was bright, energetic, positive, & fun music. It was different than anything DMb has done before and it brought me back around again with the same excitement I had several years earlier.

Some of you may dislike the album & thats fine. But it appears that most of you are on an I hate Everyday bandwagon. Just be happy that the band is open to playing different styles of music & allowing different producers to challenge them and broaden their horizons. Anyway, to each his own.
