I liked the lovely ladies on songs like JTR, stay, granny, every 36 days, true reflections and maybe a couple others, but I didn't like them on all the everyday songs or BOWA.cave_cricket wrote:i enjoy the lovely ladies as well....i must be the craziest DMB fan out there.... they have amazing voices...i like when they sing on a few songs...i wouldn't them out on the whole show but they do add to some songs....especially (IMHO - which is not shared with too many people) JTR, Angel, Stay and Everyday/#36

i agree with BOWA and would add Minarets to the songs they should NOT be ongcom007 wrote:I liked the lovely ladies on songs like JTR, stay, granny, every 36 days, true reflections and maybe a couple others, but I didn't like them on all the everyday songs or BOWA.cave_cricket wrote:i enjoy the lovely ladies as well....i must be the craziest DMB fan out there.... they have amazing voices...i like when they sing on a few songs...i wouldn't them out on the whole show but they do add to some songs....especially (IMHO - which is not shared with too many people) JTR, Angel, Stay and Everyday/#36

I agree that it is a good CD; however, it is quite difficult to match up to the very, very high-quality prior live releases that the band has put out (Red Rocks, Luther College, etc.), and most people here (and pretty much everywhere else) aren't very big fans of Everyday, which is showcased heavily on FF.

I enjoyed Folsom for a few reasons, A] Everyday was really good. I don't really like Everyday usually but for some reason that song really hit me right. B] Watchtower. I'll leave it at that. C] They gave us live releases of songs that had not previously had official live releases. Such as JTR and a lot of the Everday stuff. D] JTR also hits a good chord with me.
Also I didn't like Ants on FOlsom. I think Dave's voice was really kinda bland. In all I would take all the other live releases over Folsom, but that's just me.
Can someone verify this for me ( I know it's kinda off subject) but in Listener Supported does dave blow a verse on Rhyme and Reason? I think he does, but I don't really remember.

Where the hell do you get the folsom field dvd anyway? the CD is all over the place, but I haven't been able to find the dvd anywhere. Is is one of those napster member only bootlegs, like storytellers or lillywhite?

Yeah, in the third verse he sings the tied in knots bit etc, instead of talking to myself, a tv blares.DreaminBassMunky wrote:Can someone verify this for me ( I know it's kinda off subject) but in Listener Supported does dave blow a verse on Rhyme and Reason? But it's still a damn fine version of the song, especially on the DVD when you can see Carter behind him doing those bloody damn fast fills, then flipping his drumstick around. Ah, I need a cigarette now.
Where do you expect us to go when the bombs fall...

oh absolutly amazing. R & R and The Stone were two of the top reasons I bought that cd, and it's a damn good performance, and hey no one's perfect, not even Dave Matthews.aleceiffel wrote:Yeah, in the third verse he sings the tied in knots bit etc, instead of talking to myself, a tv blares.DreaminBassMunky wrote:Can someone verify this for me ( I know it's kinda off subject) but in Listener Supported does dave blow a verse on Rhyme and Reason?
