Trippin' Billies Improved verse

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Trippin' Billies Improved verse

Unread post by dmfollower » Wed Feb 02, 2005 5:11 am

ok, what up? i just worked in this little add-on to the verse of billies. on the second go-around of the verse, instead of ending with the 2x02-3x04, end with harmonics on 5th-upper strings to 7th-lower strings(think typical). if you nail those harms. correctly it should totally sound like the song.

"Smoke my mind, makes me feel better for a long time"
"They called it Aspen because "buttpencil" was already taken."

--my little brother(stoned 1st time :) )

"A commom mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is underestimating the ingenuity of complete fools." --Ford Prefect

"Don't forget to bring a towel." --Towlie

I'll try that when I get home.

I like to do Boyd's little staccato A before going into the verse. Just took quick pulls on the high e and B, fifth fret.

B:-5*--
G:-----7*
