I think the implied meaning there was that it was NOT out of tune and that your ear was wrong.

I don't have one yet, I'll record it when I get the energy to pull out all the recording stuff, I don't feel good right now though so it most likely won't be tonight

alright Firedancer, it is time for you to realize that all your recordings are crap and most one armed drunk people can pick up a left handed broken acoustic guitar and play better than you........... or at least that is what they will say when they are 1,000 miles away on the internet and don't record anything.

gcom........ he said it wasn't his best effort when he posted it right? At least he is willing to post something, I know I wouldn't post anything unless I thought it was the best it was going to be so to just post something that you threw together is cool.

back to firedancer, I have enjoyed every recording I have ever heard of yours and have even learned one of your originals by ear........ pretty slick stuff......... don't let this bum bother you.

What about the top 5 lists? I like this one. Has me thinking. I'll probably date myself here:

This Hard Land - Springsteen
Fish and Whistle - John Prine
Ants Marching
Lie in Our Graves
Southern Cross - CSN

...I think...

Time for sleep.

that's your comeback for everything....

my five list would probably be...

LIOG

Thanksgiving song -- Any time of year!!! (Sandler - I had to add some comedy in here)

Billies

SMTS

Apache Rose (My fave peppers song, which would be hard to play acoustically, but I would really like to...)

anyways...about fire's neon cover, I remember the older version being a little better, not that this one is bad at all, i sure couldnt do it now...

tis a great song...lot's of fun to play although I've never really tried to cover it solo, I just play along typically with the all this time DVD...it just really demonstrates how great of a musician Sting is...the progression's are just gorgeous. I'm pretty sure I've nailed the tab as well. would anyone be interested in that?
