I never use my thumb, I think it feels very uncomfortable.

is anyone else not able to use their thumb? my hands are too small

i can. use it all the time. like the chord in WWBOM and pantala....its so much easier to make a C chord with your thumb on the base note than make that crazy ass looking chord.

I can but my hands are small so it's awkward, and I very rarely come upon a chord where I need to (i.e., that D in TSB), so I don't practice it much.

I like to use my thumb during the chorus to Everyday on the first fret of the E string. I just find it easier than using my index finger.
