There are some at http://www.musiciansfriend.com, or you can get some at a cigar shop in your area. Im going to buy a humidifier/thermometer combo thingy from CoolWaves i think is the name of the company, ill look into it.
EDIT: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid ... e_id/88776
Theres the one Im lookin at...apparently someone didnt like it but it seems ok, i asked about this at another guitar board and the only thing i may be worried about is how exactly it releases the moisture...i dont want it squirting water on the guitar...that would just be retarted, but ill keep looking.

If you've spent a good deal of money on a guitar, its probably a good idea to play an extra 10-30 to prevent damage...especially where its really dry, or extremely humid (extreme south texas....i hate living here.)

heh. yeah. i'm stuck in kansas so the weather's mad. i think we went from snowing to 70 degree weather to rain sometime this year.

and sarah, humidifiers are necessary if you don't want cracks/a broken guitar. cold weather puts moisture into the wood while warm weather draws it out, which causes the guitar's wood to fluctuate and such. a humidifier keeps things stable.

i didn't have a humdifier for my 90 dollar nylon guitar from sam's club because it wasn't worth it, but i just got a new 414 and am needing it. ;) just depends on your priorities, i suppose.

i live in south texas, and it's almost always humid here. Right now it's 47% humidity in the winter season.
I was wondering if I keep my guitar in it's case.... inside, will it be necessary to buy a humidifier. The only extreme weather here is the heat in the summer, but my guitar is never outside.
I'm new to this, so bare with me:)

PlanetWavez all the way. If you live in an area where you run the heat at Winter time, or it's really dry, then it's a good idea. Keeping your guitar in the case, especially if it's a good case, is always a great idea.

Those digital humidifier monitors from PlanetW's rule as well.
