Radiohead - High and Dry ->
Alrighty, I finished it. Let me know what you think about certain parts etc, because I can just go back in and tweak things a bit. I want to redo the bridgish part, it doesn't too good.

Good stuff, the vocals were decent. It's not really an easy song to sing and you did well. The intro is a little off though. Try this:
Code: Select all
e------------------------------------------
B------------------------------------------
G--13--13\11---13--13\9--9-9---9--9---9--9-
D--x---x--x----x---x--x--x-x---x--x---x--x-
A--11--11\9----11--11\7--7-7---7--7---7--7-
E----------------------------0------0------

I did that for a while, and I just think it sounds pretty bland. It's definitely not what thom plays, you can hear the high strings in there.Trippin Hillbilly wrote:Good stuff, the vocals were decent. It's not really an easy song to sing and you did well. The intro is a little off though. Try this:

Guitar and recording is great as always.
The vocals were very well done considering how hard this song is to sing.
Maybe try something that keeps you down in your chest voice more. It's much better to start down there than jump right into something like this. But you did a very impressive job nonetheless.

nice job pat. sounds great to me.
i agree with miguel on the intro though.
i actually play all the strings except the D...which i mute. play what he has tabbed out, with the other strings ringing open. nice job though.
