thank you. i think everyone just commented and have never tried it. seeign as how no one had an opinion, just quoted the person ahead of them.
and there's one chord on the standard tuning tab that just didn't soud right to me. oh well. i'm going to order strings for my other acoustic and just leave that on in drop D.

i tried it...i just disagree with you. not so much on the verse, but the lovely lady part does not sound good at all to me.

and why would you leave on guitar in drop D. when you've done it enough time, you can change to drop D in about 3 seconds.

i tried it earlier today and i didnt think that it sounded good.. i agree with i-am-me, it only takes a few seconds and its so worth it

I think no one understood the wording of my thread.
I didn't say it sounded great, the point was that a couple of the chords on the standard tab sounded like shit to me.
I was wrong. thank you all for constantly pointing htat out.

And ya, its funny, i never really played in different tuning so i biested out my tuner, hit the string, twisted it once, checked the tuner and it was perfect. :lol:

guess changing tuning is a lot easier than i thought
