What are some good songs to learn on the electric guitar..i got one for christmas and so far have learned...

Phish - NICU
- Prince Capian

any recommendations for what to learn next?

Depends on what you can do and what you like. Any Hendrix is the bomb, but there's nobdody that can cover Hendrix like Hendrix played, nor SRV. We're only trying in vain to get that "tone" and sound.

damn i was about to write every one of those haha cocaine and layla are fun to play on electric the solos are electric songs

also hells bells by ACDC is great too

some zeppelin can be good some times houses of the holy is extremly easy and fun so is lemon song

Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode (covered by a lot of people including hendrix, but id reccomend berry for learning it)...this is a classic electric blues song, with a classic solo intro that is one of the best ever

incubus is cool electric guitar stuff umm..i like new skin, nebula, stellar, pardon me, warning, summer romance, meglomaniac is fun to play but there older stuff from S.C.I.E.N.C.E is the best

any zeppelin, ac/dc, hendrix, clapton. thro some black sabbath in there for good measure as well. paranoid is easy and if you get war pigs down then that song is just kick ass.

blues based hard rock is the best
