guitar question
guitar question
I started playing guitar a couple of years ago. Basically I played classical songs which also means that I have a classical guitar. no steel strings. I'd really like to play some Dave Matthews songs but specially the chords that have muted strings in them (I guess most of the cords dave plays) just don't seem to sound at all. Should I get a western guitar? How much would I have to spend to have a descent sounding one?

ah man, i started out with classical guitar too. Getting an acoustic is the best thing in my life. Since you're maybe used with the classical guitar, since you have played it two years. I recommend getitng a guitar that is not a dreadnaught. Look for grand auditorium/concert shape, those are more comfortable and fit your needs more.
