Taylor 214E vs Larrivee OM-03E

and i couldnt find any larrivee with electronics for 600-700$, thats my preferable range.
If you're serious about buying, give http://www.notableguitars.com or http://www.guitaradoptions.com an email or call and get them to quote you a price on the Larrivee. I agree with Shane, that you should check out the L body. If you prefer the OM then great but the L is a more comparable shape to Taylor's x14.

You should look here periodically too. http://www.larriveeforum.com/forums/ind ... 014526d2fd

Buy a Fender.

Seriously, I have my DG-20CE with a fishman in it, and it sounds great for being a laminant and its only 400.

All you "Fender Sucks Club" twats need not reply.

I've never heard one plugged in, but Fender acoustic guitars have horrible tone when unplugged. I've played quite a few.

And the statement that a 110 is overpriced isn't a matter of opinion. It's fact if you have any kind of ear at all.

Buy used if you can only spend that much on a guitar and you must have electronics in it. That's my suggestion.

good luck trann
If he didn't know it existed until he saw it on the internet, then he obviously hasn't played one. That means he has no idea what the sound is like. Giving him fair warning that a 110E is not the Taylor he thinks it is isn't telling him his opinions are wrong (because it's impossible for him to have an opinion).
yep, 70% of his want for it is cause its taylor, 30% is because it has that E
haha that was cool.

I have a cheap, used DG-11E that I have had for over 3 years, and for only costing me $150, and being a laminate, its got a pretty decent sound. Any recording I have posted was using this guitar.

Anywho, like Shane or someone said... wait to you save up a few more hundred bucks and buy a nicer high end guitar. I know the wait can be hard but it will be worth it.
