i was curious to see if it was the same for everyone or not.. i guess it depends what you play in the most...

my easiest is E... just a little bit easier than G.

im bored.

the key you're most comfortable to play/improvise in. Let's keep this in standard tunning.

lately E. I love it...I wrote...2 songs in E last night...plus one in G that i've been working on sine Juneish.

E major....and.... G. (in that order)

C.....easiest key possible because every note in it is a regular note....no sharps. C->F->G progression...pretty standard and used soooo much.

It's also the one key I can solo in w/o even paying attention. When I took lessons for like 3 weeks....the guy had me goign through and picking out each notes name....and had me stick w/ the non-sharps to start.

Through that, I pretty much just got all those notes down and can solo in that key. Now, if I pay attention then I can move that pattern around and solo in other keys...I just need to get my bearing on where I am on the frets as opposed to just going all out.

heh, theoretically C is the easiest. i just dont use it much.
