Too bad he toned it down when I saw him play it at D&F.

He did bartender up at the meadows this year and it was intense, you can just feel dave's energy when he screams

Damn, that sucks, I'm sorry...
But there are other things I like about the D&T version of Bartender, though. It is darker, more middle-eastern (especially timmy's cool fills with a slide) which I like more than anything, and overall the version has more quiet power to it. The version with the full band is a glorious, climactic masterpiece and a rush of contained emotions, whereas the D&T version is an edgy, thought provoking journey through the darkest parts of Dave's mind. He does not scream, he wispers, moans, and wails like someone crying out from a mosque. I love it.
