Its very quick and takes a while to get used to. I wouldn't say I have it down 100% cuz I always mess up the transition, but its not the hardest dave part to play.

I got it after a few attempts. I watched a DVD to see Dave's way and its pretty easy to strum out.

I didn't get to vote but i think its tougher than it is easier cause your going from a fast-pasted struming to a slower speed that's a little harder to finger. I can play it but the transition is tough as speenie said.

Am I stupid or is the video on the site played to slow? I have a DVD and Dave plays it just as fast as the verse which is how I play it.

Jared isn't Dave himself. Fool To Think is one of Dave's hardest songs to get down perfectly IMO. Also, Jared has mentioned that some of his videos aren't perfect (Billies verse for example).

yea, his videos (to me anyway) are more of just a way for people to see what they should be doing. a guideline...not THESE ARE DAVE'S HANDS.

I thought the chorus was pretty easy. The verse is trickier. Most people don't even know that they don't have the timing close to what it should be.

Check out the Benaroya Hall DVD (10-24-02). That has some good footage of Dave playing it solo. And yes, to me it is a bitch.

So true. I had to sit down with a recording to get it down the first time.
