Just for shits and giggles, Mike Einziger and Tim Mahoney. Both guitarists are very unique and pull off some really weird riffs that make you wonder how the hell they did it.

Any guitarists that plays electric but can still jam out on acoustic and make it sound just as good as if they were playing electric. Hard to find an electric guitarists who can strip down to an acoustic and still put it off.

That you mention the acoustic, brings me to call Zakk Wylde. That fella is hardcore. Check out T.A.Z. and Speedball for acoustic instrumentals.

I like tim reynolds, clapton, hendrix, dave, and even mayer up there but my favorite would have to be Trey. My jaw was on the ground the first time i saw/heard him play live! quite a trip!
