anyone have an accurate tab for tangerine by zeppelin? i found one that sounded bood when i played it by myself, but when i tried to play along with the song, it sounded like shit, not at all the same. any help is greatly appreciated

if you are playing Aminors and Ds it should sound in key ..

Im pretty sure its played on a twelve string, so that maybe one reason why it sounds funny. On a six string I would suggest tuning your guitar down 1/2 step. It sounds really nice. Trying to double up with led zeppelin songs is hard.

ya i was def in tune, and that was the site i got the tab from, i was thinking maybe it was capoed somewhere or something cause it just doesnt sound right at all when playing witht he song.

Its probably because its played on a twelve. I'd be surprised if it was capoed. I've played it on a twelve before and it sounded much closer to the song.

thanks, i guess the problem is just that im not on a 12. i tried playin it down 1/2 and 1 full step, but that didnt help much.

If your playing along with the album(III), it probably won't sound right. I think that whole album is off-key. It may have something to due with the date of the recording but i've had the same problem.
