ok mike, its up

now heres what i think i did wrong: played it a bit too fast, not great at the uber fast rolling hammers, inconsistent harmonic.

this is very rough remember.
comments welcome.

Not bad at all. You're playing it too fast and the timing is inconsistant but you're hitting the notes nice and clean. Don't foget those slap harmonics too. Great vibrato on the bass notes.
Once question though. Where's the slapping? The thumb should be hitting inward so the string slaps against the fretboard. The slaps are pretty crucial but they make things much harder cause you have to change the way you attack the string.
Good job though.
Don't let it get to your head that I patted you on the back. Humility...remember?

trust me im humble.

i was afraid that the slap wouldnt really come through, i assure you, all those notes, except the 3 pops in each measure are slaps. i had to play them on my chet and it dont record too well in the slap department. my acoustic dont record well period, you see my dilema.

thanks for the comments mike, ill keep workin

Last worked on - Improv in C (just dicked around with the C major scale trying to get more accustomed to it and all scales in general).

About to work on - You Never Know, just got a capo and wanted to learn this one.

Don Ross-Klimbim

I'm sorta sucky at it. The bar chords way up on the neck are making my hand hurt something awful. It's amazingly fun to play though.

Me too, I like the music so much more than any other band or solo artist that it's the only stuff I want to learn.

It will be for a while and then you'll start to discover other styles that are just as entertaining. Or you won't and you'll be one of those people who plays exclusively Dave and gets pissed when someone implys that he isn't God. The choice is yours. :D

You bastard! I'd give my left testicle to see him live. I demand an in depth review of the show, only exception is if you smoke a fatty before-hand.

You will get your review MWR, and the best part is, I'm seeing Kelly Joe Phelps the following week.
