Selling your first guitar

Unread post by Reckless » Tue Jan 11, 2005 11:24 pm

What are your thoughts on it? I sold mine recently. It was a really crappy guitar but now I'm starting to regret it. People have been surprised that I would sell my first instrument and all, and it's been getting to me now. I'm deciding whether I should try to get it back or not.

my first is a Fender Jaguar, I never play it and Im hard up for cash and Id still never sell it, just something sentimental about the first guitar I ever played and learned on.

i would never sell my first guitar, no way in hell, its not the greatest guitar, but it has that sentimental value, i will never ever part with that guitar or any of my guitars for that matter

I agree, I don't think I could sell my first one. It's pretty crappy, but has actually started to gain a decent sound over the past 8 years. I still play it all the time, and keep it in open D.

I would never sell my first guitar, as its the only guitar I have... but also its the guitar that I've been playing with ever since I started so it has quite a lot of sentimental value.
