well done, this ones better, although i still think that the rythm is a bigger problem then the fills were. The fills were better on this one tho

Then you are hearing something I'm not, or you have yet to realize we recorded directly to my friends soundcard. I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but with the setup we have the rhythm can't get a lot cleaner.

in the begginning its perfect, and it is for a large part of it, but at 46 seconds it tops out and gets volume drive on it. and at a few more places in it. this prolly bothers me more than anyone else, i dunno why its just always annoyed me. plus you could've maybe turned the progression a little bit. you just play it like a robot. throw in some mutes and some dynamic changes. but hey, thats just nitpicky its a great cover.

Alright I see what you mean. I dunno why I sped it up right there. As for the mutes/changes/etc. I guess we were just trying to sound more like the original.

Oh yeah, I tried emphasizing the bass notes as opposed to the bottom two strings.

I'm not sure where Praise is getting his lingo from but there is a hefty amount of clipping a.k.a. volume drive going on. Ohterwise it was a nice little jam. Great song choice too.

i get my vocabulary from my head. clipping is overdrive when the volume of the guitar is higher than the volume of the mic on the cpu. hence VOLUME DRIVE!!! i didnt know clipping was the term, thanks mike

 Yeah I guess that will happen when plugging directly into a sound card. I'm probably getting one of those M-Audio MobilePre USB's sometime soon so hopefully that will help.

I dunno I thought it was good for a bunch of bums like ourselves. This is the first time we have ever recorded anything together and I thought it went pretty well.
